Welcome to therapy-carlsessou.com (the "Site"), operated by Carl Sessou, psychotherapist and specialist counselor ("we", "us" or "the Data Controller"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect and share your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable laws.

We collect:

  • Identification data: Name, surname, email address via the contact form ( carl.sessou@contactpsy.com ).

  • Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, via cookies or analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics if enabled).

  • Sensitive data: No health data is collected on the Site; this is processed only during sessions reserved via secure channels.

Legal basis: Consent (form), legitimate interest (browsing), contract (reservations).

2. Purposes and retention period

  • Contact: Responding to your requests (retention: 3 years).

  • Bookings: Managing individual/couple therapies (retention: duration of follow-up + 5 years for legal obligations).

  • Site Improvement: Audience analysis (retention: 14 months max.).
    Data is not sold or transferred to third parties without consent, except to secure subcontractors (e.g., Wix hosting).

3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses essential (navigation) and optional (analytics) cookies. You can refuse them via your browser preferences. For third-party cookies, a consent banner appears.

4. Security and accommodation
The data is hosted by Wix (EU/USA servers with standard GDPR contractual clauses), protected by SSL encryption and restricted access. In the event of a breach, notification will be made to the CNIL within 72 hours if required.
